A couple working at a Christian program for homeless and at-risk children have been arrested for sexual abuse, the Idaho Statesman reports.

Michael Paul Magill, 30, and Jennifer Nicole Magill, 32, who work at the Christian Children’s Ranch, were arrested Friday for allegedly molesting two teenage girls. They will be arraigned Monday.

The married couple admitted to authorities to having sexual contact with the girls over the summer, according to the Statesman. The girls are aged 14 and 17.

Authorities were contacted by program officials who were alerted by the family members of one of the alleged victims. The couple’s two children were taken into protective custody when the Magills were arrested Friday.

The ranch in the western Idaho town of Eagle has four homes that can house up to 10 children each, under the age of 17. Each home has a couple that serves as “houseparents,” the Statesman reports. The Magills were listed as houseparents as of Monday, but have been since removed.

Both Magills have been charged with a count of felony sexual battery of a minor and felony sexual abuse of a child, KTVB reports.

“The Christian Children’s Ranch has been providing Christ-centered homes to homeless and at-risk children since 1946,” the ranch website states. “We provide caring & loving families in 4 live-in homes for boys & girls, ages birth-age 17, for immediate shelter care as well as long term care.”
