South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Brizbon McCamey Chapman on fifteen (15) counts involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, made
Investigators say Chapman was involved in sending child pornography via file sharing.
A search warrant was obtained and executed at Williams’ residence on Friday, March 13th. A computer was seized for forensic examination.
Chapman is charged with five (5) counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor second, degree (§16-15-405), which is a felony offense punishable by up to ten (10) years imprisonment on each count; and ten (10) counts of Sexual
Exploitation of a Minor, third degree (§16-15-410), which is a felony offense punishable by up to ten (10) years imprisonment on each count. Bond was set at $150,000.
The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
Attorney General Wilson stressed all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
