Police arrested a Page County woman Wednesday, charging her with molesting a Waynesboro boy in 2012.
Anna M. Nickols, 49, faces two counts of forcible sodomy and two counts of carnal knowledge of a child.
Police said Nickols is suspected of molesting the boy when he was 13 years old, and said she began a week-long relationship with him in the summer of 2012.
An investigation into the molestation allegations began in July when the boy, now 15 and in foster care in Richmond, reported the alleged abuse to a Child Protective Services worker.
Police issued warrants for Nickols’ arrest in September but could not locate her until this week.
Nickols is currently being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail.
