A Peru, Indiana woman was arrested on child molesting charges following a five-month investigation.
According to police, Jessica P. Hyde, 21, sexually molested a 13-year-old boy earlier this year.
24-Hour News 8’s partners, The Pharos-Tribune, reported Hyde was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for two felony charges of child molesting after police conducted a five month investigation into the incidents.
Police said in May, the boy’s parents said their son and Hyde were in a sexual relationship in February and March. The Indiana Department of Family Services assisted in the investigation.
Hyde is being held at the Miami County jail on a $50,000 bond.
